Film your own wedding terms and conditions
In order to secure the video booking, we request 50% up front in the form of a cheque or BACS transfer which is due when the terms and conditions are signed and returned to us. This is a non-refundable retainer which will secure YDtS services for the date of the wedding and bookings cannot be confirmed until this money has been received. The remaining balance is then due at the consultation, two to three weeks prior to the wedding.
The rental period for the video cameras will run from 2 day before the wedding to the day after the wedding inclusive and YDtS will arrange for delivery and collection of the camcorders via Interparcel. The client agrees to package the equipment in the boxes provided by YDtS and agree a time for delivery and collection prior to the wedding date.
You Do the Shoot agrees to hire one/two Panasonic video Camcorder for the purpose of filming the client's wedding day and supply a professional videographer if requested. Agrees to edit the footage into chapters on a DVD. The final video will be edited into chapters for the ceremony, speeches, best bits montage and video diary (option 2 and 3 only) and will be delivered to the client 6 - 8 weeks after the event. Availability may be limited and reservations are made on a first come first served basis, validated by the deposit and the signed contract.
The the video cameras and kits are fully insured with a £250 excess. In the unlikely event that YDTS should have to make a claim, the client is responsible for the £250 excess in full. The camcorder(s) will be left in the care of the client in good working condition and any damage, loss or theft of the equipment whilst in their care, will be charged to the client up to a maximum of £250. In the case of loss, damage or theft of the equipment, the client agrees to contact YDtS immediately and YDtS cannot be responsible for the resulting lack of wedding day footage.

We reserve the right to refuse rental service to anyone at anytime where we deem it is in our best interest on the basis of credit, past history, lack of safety precaution, or likelihood of abuse. We may also refuse rental service at anytime and our obligation under any contract executed will be void should we discover that the intended use of the equipment presents a serious safety hazard and/or violates any constitutional or by law.
The client agrees to examine the video camcorder, batteries, tripod and microphone the day before the wedding to ensure that they are in good working order. If there are any techinical or operator issues at this point, the client agrees to raise them with YDtS. The client also agrees to return the equipment in the same condition as when it was received, ordinary wear and tear accepted. The client is solely responsible for the equipment, and those who use it, whilst it is in their possession and accepts full responsibility for loss or damage to the equipment. The client is solely responsible for ensuring that the camcorders are filming throughout the course of the wedding day. YDtS cannot be held responsible for the lack of footage, poor quality of filming and the loss of tapes from the wedding day.
